Fixed Asset Tracking Assets by Building, Floor and Section
What you own, and where it is.
Define buildings, floors and sections once, then put each asset in its place with make, model, serial number and photo.
Every asset has a place.
Record the company’s fixed assets with make, model, serial number and photo, and know which building, floor and section each one is in.
Building, floor, section.
Define locations on three levels: building, floor and floor section. Every asset is tied to the section it sits in, so the list tells you what is where.
Photo, serial number, location.
Pick the make and model from your own definitions, type the serial number and set the building, floor and section. Each asset takes one photo, which opens full size from the list.
On the line or in the office.
Mark the assets used in production. Filter the list by make, building and production status, and any record without a location stands out.
One company. One record.
Assets live in the company’s shared record: PDKS kiosk tablets are picked from your assets, and if a kiosk has no location of its own, the asset’s building and floor are used. Equipment running at your customers’ sites lives in Maintenance Tracking, tied to the customer record.

Questions, answered.
How do I set where an asset is?
First define the buildings, the floors in each building and the sections on each floor. On the asset record you pick the building, floor and section, and the list shows the location in that order.
Can I add a photo to an asset?
Yes. Each asset takes one photo (JPG, PNG or WEBP), and a new photo replaces the old one.
What is production inventory?
A flag that separates the assets used in production. You can filter the list to production inventory or to non-production items.
Do I track equipment at my customers here too?
No. This app is for your own company’s assets. Service, calibration and warranty for equipment you sell or maintain are kept in Maintenance Tracking.
Do the attendance tablets show up here?
Yes. The tablets you use as kiosks are registered as assets, and if a kiosk’s location is left blank, the asset’s location is used.
